Andrew wins Bok Award!

Andrew has been awarded The Prestigious ' The David St John Thomas Charitable Trust' Book Award 2007 in the non-fiction category. This award is for his self published book ' Seated Upper Body Massage for All' The Book will alsao be considered for the overall prize which will be decided at the prize giving to be held at the English Speaking Union headquarters in London on 30th April. This award is also supported by The Society of Authors and is the first Complementary Therapy book to be awarded in this prestigious competition. The book is a teaching aid on his nationwide run courses on seated massage.

Andrew talks to the Shropshire MS Suport Group

Andrew has been invited to give a talk about complementary therapies to the Shropshire MS Support Group at The Hamar Centre, Royal Shrewsbury Hospital on Thursday 7 February between 1 and 2pm; he will be available to meet members of the audience after the talk, especially as he is currently treating disabled patients in their homes and as residents in nursing/ care/ residential homes.

Andrew talks on Ear Candling

Andrew has been invited to give another talk on ear candling for the Federation of Holistics Therapists at the NEC, Birmingham between 2.30 and 3.30pm on Monday 14 April. Tickets for the talk are sure to sell out quickly so please contact Nicola Spoor at the FHT as soon as possible on or contact the FHT on 0844 875 2022. This is sure to be a lively and fun occasion with audience participation guaranteed and questions from the floor welcome. Andrew is of course the author of the best selling textbook 'Ear Candling and Other Treatments for Ear, Nose and Throat Problems' and the originator of the theory of how ear candles really work. Andrew will be pleased to meet delegates before the talk on the Willens booksellers stand and after the talk on the FHT stand.

Andrew has been invited to give a talk on complementary therapies to the Cockshutt, Ellesmere Shropshire branch of the National Federation of Women's Institutes on Wednesday 8 October at 8pm. This is a must for members of the WI and he will need a willing volunteer or two, so don't be shy you ladies, you won't need to take off any clothes (unless you want to audition to be a calendar girl)!
